Update August 9th, 2010 - HttpHandler Files

Several folks have requested information about wiring HttpHandlers. There have been some changes in VS 2010, that make this much easier. Special thanks to Anshu Dutta for pointing this out.

In your WebProject simply Add a new Generic Handler

Right Click Project > Add > Generic Handler

The generic handler will be suffixed with '.ashx', this suffix does not need to be seperately configured in either the web.config or IIS. Thanks again to Anshu for pointing this out, he taught this old dog a new trick that has me more productive as well!
